27 October 2006 Sup, well I still can't find a job and still collecting unemployment. Still goin to school, won't be done till June '07. Hopeing to get a job soon! Ain't much anything else been going on. Finally heard something from the VA so now there gonna start my medical stuff on Nov. 17. Bout time only took em 4 1/2 months to get my shit straight. Well gonna start to finish the last of my pics, believe I still have more Chech Republic pics and some other trips, gotta go through em and label em first. So I should be done that soon. Well nothin else goin on, so till next post. 08 August 2006 Back in Philly and starting to post the rest of my pics i have left. Got the Czech Republic pics posted and starting on the Amsterdam pics next. Well starting school on the 21st. Getting my Electrician certifications. Still ain't got no job that suxs but am currently on unemployment, so atleast i have something comeing in. Well yo till next post. 25 June 2006 I'm finally getting out! Signed all my paperwork like 2 weeks ago and it's all final now, so my medical discarge is completed. I started to clear so I can get outta here. I got my plane tickets too, so July 8th I will be back in Philly that afternoon. I'm so excited I can't wait. Also went to the czech republic this weekend, that trip was cool. Have to go back there. Got 1 last trip planned for this coming weekend before me and some other people I usually travel with leave too. Went to Normandy beach the weekend before and we did that whole coast line. That was an experience, they are some parts that are untouched and you can still see craters in the ground from the bombs and other stuff too. Plus they are so friendly to Amricans, one part of France that isn't stuck up and rude to Americans. Started to post the pics from that trip we started at Utah beach which was where the Amrican landings for D-day started and worked our way East to end at Le Have where the British and Canadians landed, also so the American cemetary there too, it's so big. Well I'm gonna try to keep posting my pics hoping to get them all up but highly doubt it since I got so many to post. Can't wait to get that good old High Speed U.S. internet back, so that I can get all my pics posted. Well till next post! 02 June 2006 Well I'm back off my 2 weeks of leave, went to Venice and back to Paris again. I'm done with Paris now seen everything I wanted too. Venice was awsome, its a must see. Posted all my Venice pics. Also went traveling locally so will be posting those pics next. Couldn't get to the Chech Republic because they have strict rules with what kind of cars can get in. We had a rental so we couldn't get in, same with Poland. But theres a trip on 24 June to Chech Republic that were doin. Also suppose to be goin to Amsterdam this weekend. Next weekend were doin the trip to Omaha & Normandy beaches. Still no word on when i'm getting out yet, i'm looking toward the end of this month. They finally sent my packet off to D.C., and it's been 2 weeks now so I should be hearing something back this coming week, if not i'll be calling them the following week for a status. But since I got a congressional hearing started they have been on top of getting my paperwork pushed through so we'll see. So till next post. 13 April 2006 Nothing new goin on. Haven't heard anything yet on when or if I'm comin home. Maybe by mid May the latest. Will be getting back to posting pics, still got Germany & Spain to post. Suppose to be goin to Belgium on Saturday so we'll see how that turns out. But May 25-28 were going to Rome, Italy not Paris, that trip is set in stone. Were gonna do Paris on a regular weekend before that. Well till next post hopefully will have some good news then. 01 April 2006 Well going for my finaly part of my Med Board tomorrow, then they will send my medical documents to Walter Reed for final evaluation, hoping to hear something back before the end of the month. Also haven't been paid for the last 2 pay days now. The Finance people keep telling me I don't owe the army anything and that they don't know why my money is being taking out when it shouldn't be. Well other than not being paid for 2 paychecks now and waiting on word for a finaly verdict on my med board i'm fine. Been doing my online classes, so far i'm doin good in my history class, handed in my assignment last week and got 162 out of 180 points and finished my mid term no grade posted till the end of next week, not bad especially since I wrote it the same night I had to turn it in. Also doin my math class but ain't lookn too good in that class. Been only getting 1/2 credit's for the homeworks. Keep making stupid mistakes. Starting to slowly post more pics too. So till next post hopefully I'll have new on when I'm coming home for good. 13 March 2006 OK, I'm done posting all my Malta, Italy, & New Years pics. So now I will be getting to all my Germany Pics and then the Spain pics from 2003 before I deployed to Iraq. Well nothing new yet, waiting till Friday when I finally go to my medical board. Well decided to take 2 classes so now I'm doin 2 online classes. Figured since I'm not doin much better try to get as many classes as I can knocked out, since the army pays for them and it doesn't get taken out of my GI Bill. So till next post, hopefully I'll have some great news. 18 Feb 2006 Well, I am finally done posting all my Malta & Italy pics. Will now start working on my Paris/New Years pics. Then post my Spain pics for '03, before we went to Iraq and my Germany pics too. Well they started my Medical discharge but I got a phone call last week saying that my doctor is retarded. Well I spent all day at the hospital trying to catch my doctor on Wed. Well no luck but I was able to talk to one of the people that takes care of medical issues higher up and she helped me out, so now I got an appointment next week instead of 3 weeks from now. So he can fix the problem and my medical discharge can officialy start. I just can't wait to get outta this place. Too much stress and incompitence goin on with Wurzburg, Hospital. Cause I'm not the only one goin through this there are a few other people I know that are having the same problems with that hospital. Well enough of that, got 3 more weeks till everyone gets back from the field then I can start my traveling again. So till next post.. LaTa..... 12 Jan 2006 Well, I'm still updating the site wit pictures. The German internet seems to be super slow the past week so hopefully I can get more done soon. Still on the pics from Malta, then I'll get to the Paris, New Years pics. Well went back to the doctor on Monday and he just gave me another steroid injection, got 1 more to go but I'm not letting him do anymore. I decided I'm just gonna have them stop everything and Medical Discharge me, especially since they don't know what they doin. Well hope to find out more info at the end of the month. Till next post! 06 Jan 2006 Well Happy New Year! Got back from my traveling on Sunday. Went to Malta on the 20th - 24th. It's a small little Island right below Sicily. Had a blast there, except for the rain. Then after that Trip got a couple days of recovery. Then we were suppose to go to Amsterdam but decided to try and do that next weekend. Instead we checked out Rothenburg. Its like 45 min away from where we are. It was nice, it's a Christmas Town in Germany. Then after that we set off for Paris. Now that was interesting New Years there. The line for the eifel tower was rediculous so we didn't do that. Plus I've done it 2 times already. This time we enjoyed it more and did more walking around, plus I got to see more of the Louve (Famous Art Museum). We did New Years by the eiffel tower, that was cool. Only thing was they didn't have a firework show. But they did have some rioting going on and had the riot police out in full force. It was interesting to say the least. I wouldn't recommend doing New Years in Paris. Well I'm starting to lable my pics and will start to post them today. Still no word on whats going on with me and my knee. I go back to the doctor on Monday. Hopefully I can find out weither there gonna keep messing with me or let me go. Well till next update.
